Based on The Panamanian Law and Cabinet Decree No. 6 of March 13, 2004, WHEREBY THE TRANSFER PROCEDURE FOR THE CONTROL OF NON-NATIONALIZED MERCHANDISE FROM COLON FREE ZONE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH THE STRICT USE OF CUSTOMS SEALS AND DELIVERED BY THE SERVICES OF CUSTOMS PHYSICAL CUSTODIAN to Panamanian Customs at any Airport and Cruise Ship Port so tourist can pick up their purchases prior to departure.
The operation of the boutiques are similar to Downtown Duty Free Stores, wherein tourist staying overnight can purchase luxury goods in an Aero Boutique de Panama location. Customers will pay for the products and receive proof of payment bearing a numeric and fiscal control Delivery shall be dispatched directly from Colon Free Zone to the corresponding customs office as accompanied luggage in the airport or cruise port where the tourist shall board his/her flight or cruise prior to embarkation point
